Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SHUNHE GARMENTS CO., LIMITED (“SHUNHE”, “we”) collects, uses and holds personal data on shunhe.shop, in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”).
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact: full name, email, phone, and the name used on the invoice;
- Delivery: floor or unit, building name (if given), street, district and region in Hong Kong;
- Order and payment method chosen (FPS, card or bank transfer) — we do not store full card numbers on this site;
- Messages you send through the contact form;
- Technical data: pages viewed, time, device type and IP address, collected automatically;
- Cart contents stored in your browser (localStorage key
shunheCart).
2. Purpose of use
We use personal data only for purposes related to the functions of this shop, including:
- processing orders, issuing an invoice and arranging Hong Kong delivery;
- confirming payment and reducing fraud;
- answering the contact form;
- sending product updates and promotional notices by email or SMS/RCS, only if you tick the consent box (you may reply STOP);
- keeping the site stable and secure.
3. DPP3 — use limited to the purpose
Under Data Protection Principle 3 of the PDPO, we will not use your data for a new purpose without your prescribed consent, unless an exemption in the Ordinance applies. Marketing is optional and rests on the tick-box you complete at checkout, contact or newsletter signup.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share the minimum needed with delivery partners, payment processors, and public authorities when Hong Kong law requires it. Those parties must handle the data only for the work we ask them to do.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and local storage to remember the cart and to understand basic use of the site. You can block cookies in the browser; some functions (including the cart) may then fail.
6. Retention and security
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or as Hong Kong law requires (for example, accounting records). We use HTTPS and restrict staff access. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; we take reasonable steps under DPP4.
7. Access and correction (DPP6)
You may request access to, and correction of, personal data we hold about you, as provided in the PDPO. Write to business@shunhe.shop or call +8523672 4189. We may charge a fee permitted by the Ordinance for a copy of the data. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).
8. Direct marketing
If you agree to receive promotional messages, we will only use the contact details you gave us. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to an SMS/RCS, using the email unsubscribe link, or contacting us. We will then stop using your data for that marketing.
